Meditation to Reframe Your Thoughts 

In the grind of our daily lives, complicated by the challenges in our society, it is easy to become stressed, bogged down, depleted, negative, discouraged, and very reactive. Our worlds can be filled with so much negative energy pouring into us yet we have little insight into how to detox the negative energy from our minds, bodies, and spirits.

The accumulation of this can lead to both mental and physical ailments and/or symptoms. Meditation creates a practice in our lives that causes us to be still and present and also gives us the opportunity to re-wire our brains to be less reactive and more calm.

Through the many breathing techniques and meditations that one can learn, he/she/they can find effective ways to detox negative feelings, thoughts, and energies from their bodies.

In our weekly meditation class you will learn a wide variety of breathing techniques, and mindfulness meditations that will help you to quiet thoughts, regulate emotions, and discover how these thoughts and emotions show up in our bodies.

Developing a meditation practice will also help you learn how to return to a relaxed body which will allow you to use a more calm and rational part of the brain. The class will begin with a detox and relaxation meditation, followed by sharing and discussion.

Further meditations will be explored based on the needs of class participants and then the class will end with a grounding meditation and setting of intentions for the week. We are also offering virtual sessions for telehealth on TheraNest!
